Pashmina Care

As a general rule Pashminas woven in the standard method should be dry cleaned.

You may however wish to wash your pashmina. Piece dyed Pashmina shawls can be delicately hand washed in cold water with a light detergent such as wool mix or a gentle baby shampoo.

The pashmina should be rolled in a towel to remove excess water and laid flat to dry.

To remove wrinkles, pashmina shawls should either be steam pressed or lightly ironed under a pressing cloth.

Caution!

Before washing ensure the pashmina's knotted fringes are tightly tied. Do not wash any Satin Weave Pashminas or other pashmina varieties that may have not been piece dyed. If unsure please contact us at www.easternsilk.com.au for cleaning advice.
